Penang Day 2

CURRY MEE! yes, curry mee! the special part about this curry mee is that it was served white, the curry was white, we had to add the chilli provided before we could get such a red curry.

and i have to say this curry mee is like no other curry mee in Singapore. i give it 5/5!

after making out tummies happy, we headed to.....

a temple right on top of a moutain. (i forgot where is the place called)

but look how huge this staute is. The photo obivously doesn't do it any justice at all. look at the bottom of the picture, notice how tiny the people below look?

and we happened to chance on this awesome bubble tea!

their bubble tea was nicer than KOI and gong cha imo. It has a slightly different taste that made the bubble tea taste very special. I hope someone franchises this bubble tea to Singapore :D

Headed back to the apartment and got ready for the birthday dinner!

and obviously, after a whole day of eating, shopping and more shopping and eating, we were still energetic as ever! so, we decided to catch a midnight movie!

the movie was super cheap btw. its like 11RM on a weekend, which is like S$5 per ticket! like a shiok! :D

haven't updated this blog in a long long time.

shall dedicate a post on my recent 4days trip to Penang, Malaysia. (Pictures galore!!)

DAY ONE

air tickets!

while waiting to board the plane. its my very first time on Tiger Airways and the boarding area is aircon-less! i was perspiring like a dog! and we had to stand since there were no seats.

of course the very first thing to do after we landed and settled down in our service apartments, EAT!!!! and yes, we booked 2 service apartments as there were 13 of us and we figured that would be cheaper and more comfortable.

Camwhoring is always essential while waiting for food.

i only managed to take picture of the drinks and baby's unagi baked rice as we were all starving and attacked our food like almost immediately the waiter served us our food.

anws, we went shopping at Gurney Plaza, a shopping center just below out serviced apartments, and went back to sleep till it was dinner time!!

i have no idea where this place is called, its right next to Gurney Plaza. It's filled with so much awesome food, i think i bought food from almost all of the stalls!

just look at the amount of food we ordered!!

and that's not all....

and more......their yong tau foo is totally different from the one in Singapore, i personally feel that its much nicer :D

and after all the nom noms, the table looked like world war 3

after dinns, back to the apartment to play Monopoly Deal with the gang! needless to say i was owning them ;)

4 years of my life with him.

Spending almost 4years of my life with this particular guy wasn't exactly easy. (but it was worth the while)

He makes me angry.
1. he doesn't call regularly.
2. he is always neglecting me for his dota. leavning me all alone at his place staring into space while he plays 1000000 rounds of dota. (even after my nagging)
3. he HATES going out.because he's lazy, he doesnt like taking public transport and yes, he's lazy.
(spent 4years just hanging around in Tampines)
4. he doesn't give me surprises. i mean which girl wont like surprises right! he hasnt gave me a surprise since we got together -.-
5. he doesn't send his girlf home! (staying far apart is definitely not an excuse)
6. he hardly compliments me. (sad i know right)
7. he's definitely not a good listener. (every time i tell him my problem he has to make a joke out of it and nothing constructive to help me out)
8. he doesn't sweet talk to me
9. he has a VERY VERY bad temper
10. he is VERY lazy
11. he never gives me the attention that I have always need (which makes me do stuff to get his attention like i am a little kid. For example, throwing tantrums, giving him a super unhappy face over the littlest things until he gets super pissed off and hates me for doing that. but at least i get the attention that i wanted in another way.)

I'm not the perfect-est girlfriend either. but baby, i promise you i'll stop acting like such a kid ( throwing tantrums etc), i'll not be so possessive/sticky i'll give you the time that you need with your friends, family and the time that you need to be alone. i'll go exercising with you (sigh). ya la i know the most u cannot stand the most is the part where i always have to throw my tantrums around and giving you a super super duper unhappy black face that ruins your entire day.that i will definitely not do again.

however, all that said, i still love him very much somehow.
1. The way he is able to make me laugh so easily, i wish i could give him a tight hug everytime he made me laugh.
2. The way he acts like an idiot. it makes me feel like we are so comfortable with each other, he knows i'll still love him for who he is.
3. His hugs and kisses. the way he holds me makes me feel so safe and assured.
4. He knows me inside out. Its like as if we could read each others mind without saying a thing.
5. He respects me and gives in to me consistently without complaining. (even though me acting like at kid at times gets him on his nerves.) I have never told him how much i appreciate him for being so patient with me
7. i love spending time with him. It makes me wish that the world would stop spinning and we would just be stuck there in time.
8. When i see him smile, its the best reward. Its as though everything that I have done for him is all worth while.
9. i love the way he talks sense into me
10. i love his BIG tummy.
11. i love how he looks so good even without trying too hard.
12. unbelievable but, he still makes my heart race every time i see him. even after 4 years.
13. i love doing silly things with him. (dancing to his lame dance moves that he invented. HAHAHA!)
14. i LOVE eating with him. Love cooking with him(though he doesnt wash up) and love having late night supper with him no matter where it is!
15. i love the way he protects me and stands up for me at times.it just makes me feel so precious.
16. i love the way he wraps his arms around me when we are outside.
17. i love how he comes over to kiss me after each round of his dota ends because he feels guilty BUT STILL go on to play another round after that! (cute)
18. i love how his HORRENDOUS LOUD snoring can 'rock me to sleep'
19. i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE his smell
If i were to go on, the list will never end. (so i should make myself stop)
Last but not least, i love him for him. I will never change a single bit of him. No one will ever make me feel the same way that he does. Makes everything all worth while :)

The one that makes you angry/mad/crazy are the ones that also make you at the same time, happy/sad and head over heels for. -yanping

I was talking to my friend sometime back about Facebook irritants. I was telling her how i can't stand some friends posts that I have to block them off my homepage. And she went 'how how! how do i 'block' them off my homepage too.' Finally, we realized that there are too many Facebook irritants on Facebook.

How to know if YOU are a Facebook irritant:

1. You post your life story about what you are doing every minute and every sec.
When you are angry, you post for the whole world to know what u are angry about. When you are sad, you post for the whole world to know what u are sad about. You go to the supermarket, you have to post 'i'm going to the supermarket, weee!' Number 1 on my HIDE list or maybe even deleted.
Tip for you: Get a Twitter account.

2. You post stuff and you like EVERY SINGLE thing you post -.-
The 'like' button are for friends who agree with you or literally likes your post. You don't go around liking your own post. If you don't like your own post, you post for what! I just find it disturbing and senseless at the same time.

3. You take not one. But a million quizzes and post them for EVERYONE to see.
So, yes. my Facebook homepage will be filled with all your quiz results, personality quizzes, 'what kind of girl are you' quiz. If you are my friend, I don't need to know your personality through quiz results -.- so stop posting them!

DO i look like your product? 'Photos of You' are meant to be kept for friends to tag pictures they have OF ME. Lets keep it that way. Thanks.

9. You mass message everyone. Even though they are not concerned.
Most prolly you are my friend. and most of the time it happens when someone is organising and outing for a birthday lets say. someone will mass message the details of the celebration and ask for everyone to come along. People will reply if they are coming or not. Then comes the worst part. Minor stuff like 'you bring xxx?' 'no.i'm not' 'what time will you be there?' 'i will be late' 'why?' 'oh i got classes' 'what classes?'. Imagine your inbox when you get home. HORRIFIC. aren't these conversations to be made on msn or sms?

10. You type like a twit.

Planning for Phuket Trip

haven't been blogging for a few days. been planning my 7days very first trip to phuket. i booked 2 tickets for S$190 :)

First, the hotel.
Been contemplating as to which hotel to book.but but i've finally made up my mind, and went to book Rayaburi Patong Hotel for the first 3 nights at phuket.( i havent decide on a hotel for the last 3 nights :( ) anws, the hotel looks like this:

nice nice? Its a deluxe room. I can vaguely see the toilet from here but it is suppose to be an en-suite bathroom. There's a private balcony with chairs for relaxation. I've read reviews and found this hotel not too bad. I booked it for about S$80 a night? but i do hope the hotel looks like this in real life. I mean i've seen many hotels that has chio pictures but arriving there, i found myself lost for words. so, lets hope my first 3 nights in Phuket will be a great one.
oh and did i mention, there's a jacuzzi a the rooftop of this hotel.

Oh, did i mention that Patong beach is RIGHT infront of this hotel? i can just go tanning anytime without having to be lazy to walk down to the beach! and Jungceylon Mall is right down the corner! (imma lazy ass)
will update the hotel of choice for my last 3 nights when i've booked and confirmed it :)

Second, activities.
i've so much i want to do. I wonder if 7 days is enough for me.teehee.

list of activities i wanna do in Phuket:

1. Go snorkeling at Phi Phi Island (i'm thinking of getting a package frm Mr Mark. I heard he does great tours to Phi Phi Island.)
2. Go snorkeling at Maya Island
3. Go to the shooting range

4. Ride a ATV

5. Go Go-Karting

6. Watch Simon Cabaret ( Ah Gua Show)

7. Go to Fantasea Theme Park ( i dont't really think its a theme park, its a show with lotsa illusion and effects. but i heard its really pretty)
8. Go for Spa, and massage.
9. Do manicure ( i heard the manicure there is cheap!)
10. Braid my hair :D
11. Go sun-tanning and more sun-tanning on Patong beach
12. Visit the nightclub there
13. Shop at there night market

14. Watch Muay Thai matches!! (eggciting!)

15. Go Bungee Jumping!!!
16. Relax in the hotel and order room service

so far these are the few things i hope i'll be able to do. Not enough time i guess :( i don't want to do up a daily plan of what to do on what day cos things wont turn out the way i want it on the day itself so i might as well see how it goes when i arrive at phuket.

My 21st Birthday Bash Theme Ideas

I'll be having my 21st birthday bash soon.yes, soon! and most of the preparations have been done (i hope) except that, i can't decide on a THEME for my 21st party! I have been looking at websites after websites. i can't decide! okay first i thought of doing an ALL pink party since i LOVEEE pink so very much, so everyone has to come in pink either pink top, pink bottom, or pink whatever. but den again colours are so boring! and i bet guys will have a problem trying to suit to my theme. Ok, so after some considerations the themes that i think are more feasible are these:

1. The Geek/Nerd Theme
People got to dress up like greeks. Nerdy specs, shirt buttoned to the top.gel-ed up hair, ponytails, long skirt. You can be a hot geek, ugly geek whichever, you just got to look lyk a geek. You can still look like a fashionista in those geeky clothes!

2. The Retro Theme
Come dressed in the 70s, 80s, 90s, whichever whatever. This theme is uber common but easy ma! everyone's gonna look so cute!

3. Masqurade Theme
i kinda love this theme cos i think its so classy! but because of birthday will involve bbq-ing, imagine my friends perspiring profusely under those pretty masks! and i'm not talking about those kind of masks that you get in your goodie bag during countdown parties.i'm talking about really really pretty masks. plus, i may not be able to recognise my friends! =X >.<>

4. Ribbons and Bows
I thought of this theme myself since i love ribbons and bow headbands + its the in thing now. Anws, guests can come dressed in anything as long as they wear a bow hairband, bow tie, tie a ribbon on their hair as long as, they have a bow or ribbon. like this:

okay! so these are the few themes that i'm currently considering. I can't make up my mind. So i hope you guys can give me some ideas as to which theme in you opinion is better/more fun! or if you have any other suggestions on themes, feel free to drop a comment! thanks! :D

Apparently, they got married at Four Seasons Hotel resort while vacationing in Hawaii.

According to a source, they met back in 2004 on the sets of the movie Hope & Faith, and got engaged in November 2006, before calling off the engagement in February 2009.

This is NOT Brian Austin Green first marriage though. Wonder how long they'll last. (Pray hard guys!)

hmm.i not excited really. imagine it has been so annoying trying to concentrate on a soccer match and having to listen to the vuvuzela (which sounds like a million angry hornets that are gonna attack u anytime!)

Since its coming to Singapore by this weekend, which means crazy soccer fans are gonna get them and start blowing them everywhere!

I do love soccer and i love watching the fifa. but the vuvuzela is just, too over the top. its annoying period. can u imagine trying to watch soccer matches with a hell load of people under ur block's coffeeshop blowing the vuvuzela away? or or your neighbours living near u blowing the vuvuzela? sheesh. talk about noise pollution. Concentrate on the soccer match alr!

So, 1 vuvuzela is going for the price of about S$50.00!! Its is double the price of that they are selling in South Africa! Isn't it much wiser to order like a macdonalds or kfc meal to eat while enjoying your soccer match? more budget too :)

According to a source, doctors, have sounded caution on blowing these horns, which produce a noise level of some 120 decibels - the same as a loud rock concert!!

A surgeon from a Medical Centre said that in a place where there are many people blowing the vuvuzelas at the same time, the sound intensity can actually be amplified quite a bit. So it may not actually affect the person using the vuvuzela because he is blowing the sound away from him, but he may accidentally direct the sound at someone who is close by and potentially cause damage to that person's ears.

yes! i hope my neighbours are considerate enough to not not not start blowing those horns, it does not only irritate, it affects your hearing at freakin' 120 DECIBELS!! i still wanna watch my soccer in peace with my friends at a coffee shop or a bar! The vuvuzelas noise that is coming from the TV is already good enough.

Isn't shouting GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! all of a sudden The best thing in watching soccer? imagine no GOALLLLL, only sounds of the vuvuzela. BORING!!!

ya ya.some SMRT slogan. Don't see their point in taking public transport besides the point that it saves the environment.

i mean those who can't afford a car obviously have to take the public transport. but what smrt is promoting here is for people with cars, or the ability to own a car to take public transport instead. what's so positive about taking public transport?

Trains and bus frequencies are fucking SLOW! yes slow! waiting for a train for 5 mins? and when the train arrives, everyone is trying to push everyone and you can't get on board the train! so, what to do? wait for the next one.waste time sia! needless to say about buses you can wait for lyk 20mins for 1 freakin bus. Singapore's weather is not enjoyable at ALL! you perspire like a dog while waiting for the bus. suppose to go out chio and all, end up looking lyk some mad woman down the streets. will you choose to cab instead? yes i will.and if i have a car, will i choose to drive instead? DUH~. And i dont't see the frequencies of train increasing as what they claim. And when it rains, the trains take even longer to reach ur destination and you are stuck in a fuckin crowded train breathing down everyone's neck! I hate the morning train and the trains back to work!

Trains and buses ends their services at early hours like 11-12 at an average? Then how do i go home after? ya, you are telling me take the NR buses.you know how long the journey is? killer. espically after partying. So wouldn't this be one of the reasons as to why I will be more encouraged to buy my own car? so if i get my own car, why would i leave it at the parking space at my home and hop on a bus/train alr?

You have to plan your journey.You have no idea what time the transport arrives, you gt to include your waiting time, your travelling time. So if the bus arrives when u reach the bus stop, you'll be super early. and end up waiting for you frends. (i hate waiting for ppl). and if your bus ends up arriving uber late. good game.

If i drive my own car, I can enjoy my own private space in the car, i can play my own music as loud as i want without people staring at me machiam i'm some weirdo. I can party as late as i like without worrying about the last bus (i really hate that, esp when u are feeling broke). I don't have to perspire like a dog. Once i'm out of my house i'll hop into my car, turn on the air con and off i go! hair and make-up still chio as when i left the house. I definitely reach my destination faster. I don't have to get pissed at aunties everyday for pushing themselves into the train as if that is the last train for survival. oh and i don't have to stand in heels while trying to balance myself from the stopping trains and bus and still having to look chio (annoying max).

btw, i found cockroaches crawling around on smrt buses before.wtf?

so what is it that is better by train. better by Bus?
better by my own car! :D

I have always wanted to try cooking this cause it always looks so yummy-licious. and it has 3 different levels of spiciness to choose from!
anyways, from what i have heard, its very very simple to make.
basically i guess u throw every ingredient that u want in to a pot and heat it. For me, i tink i'll buy potatoes (love), beef shabu shabu (major yumms), carrots (though i dont eat them, just for the flavour), white onions and prolly mushrooms? i know mushrooms sounds kina weird buti love mushrooms so much i wish i can put them into every dish that i eat :D

Will tell u guys the results of my cooking after i've tired it! ;)

Watched Shrek Forever After last Saturday in 3D. I heard how nice it was from my friends, some even cried. but for me i found that it wasn't fantastic. I though Shrek 1 and 2 was nice and much more funny. What do you tink?

Once a Gangster was funny.but the storyline was really really lame in my opinion.The twist and turns in the story will make you go WTH!!! haahaha.but whatever it is, it helped pass time :DD

oh oh.and did you know that they are already preparing to film IP Man 3? but but, Donnie Yen isn't going to act in it. he feels that by filming part 3 the movie and storyline itself will be too over-saturated. SUPER SAD!! i think that he's the only one that is able to potray IP Man! plus plus he's fists are lyk super fast la.wth. -.-

but the good news is Donnie Yen will be filming in this new moving called
Legend of The Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen. You guys should take a look at the trailer itself -

btw btw! i've just caught Clash of the Titans in 3D!

everyone was going on and on about how good it was so i decided to book tickets to catch the movie. butttt....i felt that it was kinda disappointing. the 3D effects wasn't fabulous. (i still LOVE Avatar:) )

It was supposed to be OMG SCARY MONSTER! and you'll b damn excited to see how he 'battles' that horrific creature. but NOOOO he shows Medusa's freakin head and the supposedly SUPER horrifying monster dies. so much for the climax!

OMG. i highly suspect that my dog is gay! hahaha.n i tink he fell in love with my rabbit. he is always staring into the rabbits cage, he can stare at the rabbit for the whole day looking in a daze! n that day wen i brought the rabbit out of the hse, my dog cried lyk crazy! hahaha

i just received my check from Barclay's work today.almost evryone's pay was 200 and some 300 bucks! but mine? hahaha.freakin $38.50! hahaha.beter den nth stil! worked on sunday.i shant mention wad company it is.but the management for marketing sucks.dey cant freakin decide on wad they wana do n dey kick their part-timers, lyk me, around.they made mi strt wrkin at 645 n til 2pm, i was nt given my lunch break! the way they talk to us was sarcastic n instructions given was unclear and we were blamed instead for our incompetence! our so called 'supervior' counldnt handle pressure and strted to get anxious evrytime something happens.calm down la! i reli couldnt stand the way she talked n treated us!

and i went on the Singapore Flyer. Seems exciting at first.the place was nice and it was crowded! wanted to board the flyer at abt 1130am.but it was raining heavily n dey highly advised us to wait.so we did.n wen we finally gt up de flyer, the excitement kinda just died down! hmm.de whole ride was kinda boring for 30mins.nth excited.construction for the Intergrated Resort [IR] was stil on.so there was nth much to see.if u are a sporean n intend to go on the flyer, i will nt sugguest goin there.if u intend to go dere on a romantic date, i suggest u go somewhere else either.lol.anws, its stil up to individual :)

thats lyk a super bad habit.n its hard to change! be it studyin, packing my room or doin projects! ahh. and nw, i have a proj due on weds, and another on thurs! yet to complete.

anws, no sch for me tmr.yes.been prayin for tt to happend everywk.esp on a tues.long long day.

been chilling out wif frends last wk.with Momi on weds, we wen to the Bottle Tree Park. the website make it look lyk some reli different n nice park.but wen we gt there, it was a totally different ting.the lotus in the pond were whithering and the swan ride was dirty n some were even sucken in! i bet they didnt even bother to mantain the place! it was pathatic! the onli life at the park was the eatery.and the prawning area.which has a Ladies Night.at $14.50/hour for 2 persons. frm 7pm-2am if im not wrong.

there was this kampong fishing for kids that was horrendously filled with dead fish.and children were stepping into the pond scaring all the fishes.the sigh states "Maximum 5 fishes in a tank"

and the children happily stuffed 30 fishes in one tiny tank! i bet the fishes will all die due to lack of oxygen.poor things!

and the pond was literally empty after the kids were done.i wonder hw long did dey spent catching those fishes!

another day was spent with Yvonne, Veneta and Shabri aka Indian.

we wen to haji lane for sheesha.

it was shabri and my first time sheesha-ing.and we were lyk damn excited!
searched lyk mad for a cosy shop bfore we settled in.

ordered pita bread, and wedges.

and Strawberry flavoured sheesha!

played carom!

slacked for awhile and we headed of to bugis street.

me and yvonne bought the bbq squid that was right in the entrance towarsds bugis street!

it was shiok!

but shabri didnt lyk it.so we actually blowed our smelly breaths at him til he almost vomitted!

anws, i headed down to Great World City thereafter to meet my parents. it was there 20th wedding anniversary!

we had Fish & Co. for dinner.the portion size was humongous! I ordered a Sharkie Freeze it was a smoothie by Fish & co. and the mug for the drink was HUGE! tt u can actually share the drink with 3 people!

overall, dinner was great!

better: ive grown to b alot more independent,instead of relying on other ppl n my frends.
